A MASS OF GOLD GENTLY STIRS. IT RAISES IT’S HEAD
AND CONTEMPLATES THE VAST WILDERNESS…A LETHARGIC
GROWL EMITS FROM THE DEPTHS OF ITS BEING. THE KING THROWS
BACK HIS MAGNIFICENT MANE AND LETS OUT A MIGHTY ROAR.
HE IS HOME!
AFRICA-0-AFRICA TOURS will take you via Mpumalanga or
Swaziland to the Limpopo Province where the Kruger National
Park is situated – vast, majestic and fearless –
epitomising the best of Africa. The vast wilderness of
the Kruger National Park stretches from the Limpopo River
in the North to the Crocodile River in the South covering
an area of 2 000 000 square kilometres which is roughly
the size of Israel or Wales.
The Stone Age San, the only Africans able to adapt to
the harsh conditions of this untamed environment given
their nomadic, self-sufficient lifestyle, were first to
dwell here.
The Kruger National Park is a premier local and international
Game Park, featuring over 250 000 mammalian inhabitants
falling into 147 species and all of the “Big Five”,
300 black rhino, 2500 white rhino, 8000 elephant, 900
leopard, 15000 buffalo and 2000 lion, as well as 507 bird,
336 tree, 49 fish, 34 amphibian and 114 reptile species.
There are 35 landscape types, spectacular when silhouetted
against the orange African skies as the sun subsides.
Game drives in open vehicles are provided. An experienced
park ranger will accompany you on the ultimate excursion,
game viewing on foot.
Accommodation varies from i.e. guesthouses, chalets,
bungalows, cottages, bush lodges and safari tents.
