The
Durban Beachfront is known for its commercial glitz and
endless activity; it stretches from South Beach to North
Beach and the bay of Plenty. Since it was turned into
a pedestrians-only walkway, Durbanites have taken to this
promenade in droves-strolling, jogging, cycling, rollerblading,
or just sitting in the sun to watch the surfers and body-boarders.
On the beach front there are performing dolphins, a fun-fair,
a snake park, and an aquarium showcasing a big variety
of saltwater fish.
We
start our tour at the South Beach's main attraction, Sea
World Durban, taking a stroll through the aquarium that
boasts an interesting collection of tropical fish, then
we attend the early morning Dolphin and Seal show. A visit
to the Fitzsimons Snake Park is a must where we will attend
life snake demonstrations and get a glimpse of a few Nile
Crocodiles.
We
travel further north and end this tour with a visit to
the Newly Opened Sun Coast Casino. |
